Strangely this wasnt a 5 star review on Allmusic website. However in my opinion it is. Dave’s voice at the age of 72 is still amazing, although very similarly to the last of the Johnny Cash albums you can hear the age of his voice, however in such a positive way it is amazing.
This is one of my favorite recordings in terms of audiophile type record.
It is a double album and only the last side (D) of the album is a true audiophile 45rpm, although sound is amazing throughout the album.
I am still raving on about how well this was recorded, and it was, the album is also very dynamic, although at first it can sound a bit down however focus on Dave’s voice and everything will be fine 🙂

Absolute winner by Nick Drake. This album is a typical evening album, acoustic guitar and a bit of piano.
Brilliant recording, considering this is something from 1972. It however is on the short side only 26:30 but one of my favorite by Nick Drake.
Sometimes it can sound a little bit depressing but this is Nick Drake’s style.

Another absolute stunner of a record. Amazing recording. This was a masterpiece by REM.
Truly one of the greatest bands of the 90s.
“At its core, the album is a collection of folk songs about aging, death, and loss, but the music has a grand, epic sweep provided by layers of lush strings, interweaving acoustic instruments, and shimmering keyboards.”
Automatic for the People – R.E.M. | Songs, Reviews, Credits, Awards | AllMusic.
It has been a long time since an album got me so excited and completely lost with the music, I enjoyed it so much, I kept turning the volume up and up.
These are three of the greatest guitarists in the world performing live. Absolute must have for acoustic guitar lovers!
